DOWN IN FRONT - SPRUCE FLATS FALLS

Canon EOS REBEL XS, Promaster 19-35 lens @ 19mm, ISO 400, f/16, 2.0 sec., 3 image Panorama
Another view of majestic Spruce Flats Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  The large moss-covered rock in the foreground looks like a turtle's head pointing right at the viewer.
As I look up this 28 ft waterfall, I remember that as we were starting to leave and climbed back up to the trail, Tim noticed up above the waterfall there was a totally different, bigger waterfall behind it.  This new waterfall was huge and unattainable due to the large, slick rock walls surrounding it. It looked awesome, but don't think we will get to it. You never know.

  1. Stunning capture here, Jerry, very tranquil and serene! A perfect way to roll into a weekend, if you ask me!
