ISO 100, f/16, 1/40 second, 19mm
On my jaunt back from Englewood yesterday morning I noticed this abandoned house with some eerie looking trees surrounding along the side of the highway. I immediately thought of a black & white shot that accents the details in both the old house and the dark sky above it. The silhouettes of the barren trees add to the mood as well.

  1. Great shot, Jerry. You're giving me ideas about reusing some of my color images from last year as monochromes. I really like how you brought out the depth in this shot.

  2. Classic monochrome. Great sky to complement this old house.

  3. Love the rich drama in this shot, Jerry! That awesome, brooding sky really adds a layer of depth here, Jerry, and that house is something I just can't take my eyes off!
